Kim Kardashian is acknowledging a bit of funny business.
ICYMI, the Kardashians star recently shared glimpses of her family trip to Tokyo, which included daughters North, 9, and Chicago, 5. However, Kim had a message of atonement after fans pointed out that her style was very similar to that of sister Khloe Kardashian's during their trip to Japan in 2018—a trip in which Kim told Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian that they looked like "f--king clowns."
Now, Kim is keeping up with the apologies.
After Khloe commented on the mom of four's April 2 Instagram post, writing, "I'm waiting….." Kim replied, "I'm sorry Khloe and Kourt too." Additionally, Kim acknowledged her previous comments about her sisters in a separate Instagram Story post, writing alongside a photo of Khloe and Kourtney, "People grow and evolve, ok??? LOL I'm SORRY."
As a refresher, Kim's notable comment was well documented during a 2018 episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
"So, I gotta be real with you guys," Kim said to her sisters. "You look like f--king clowns. I'm not f--king kidding. This is not like a tourist thing where it's Halloween, dress up like a f--king Japanese geisha. Unless we're at a geisha house."
However, Kourtney begged to differ.
"I thought my hair looked good last night," Kourtney responded. "And I thought my outfit was fun for Japan."
But as Kim noted, in her opinion, that would've been the case if it wasn't for Kourtney's makeup, adding, "Your outfit would've been great if you didn't have f--king blue eye shadow."
And as the episode aired, the KKW Beauty founder also cleared the air on social media at the time—well, in part.
"Wait if you think those [clown emojis] were wearing @kkwbeauty in the Japan episode you're mistaken," she tweeted in October 2018. "Love you Khloe & Kourt! And it wasn't the color of the shadow, it was a bright color mixed w all of the accessories and hair and outfit choices!"
